Return and Refund Policy

A carefully structured return policy built around
comfort, hygiene, and product integrity.

At Purelay, every mattress is handcrafted using premium natural materials including organic cotton, natural latex, New Zealand wool, coir, and precision-engineered comfort layers. Due to the bespoke nature of our products and strict hygiene standards, we maintain a carefully structured return policy.

Please read the following policy carefully before placing your order.

1. 50-Night Comfort Adjustment Policy

Purelay mattresses are designed to adapt gradually to your body over time. Most customers require at least 3-4 weeks to fully adjust to a luxury natural sleep surface.

For this reason, return requests are accepted only after the mattress has been used for a minimum adjustment period of 21 nights.

We strongly recommend allowing your body adequate adaptation time before considering a return request.

2. Eligibility for Return Approval

Returns are not automatic and are reviewed individually by our customer experience team. To qualify for return consideration, all of the following conditions must be met:

  • The mattress must be purchased directly from the official Purelay website.
  • The return request must be submitted within 50 nights from the date of delivery.
  • The mattress must have been used continuously for a minimum of 21 nights.
  • A valid mattress protector must have been used throughout the trial period.
  • The mattress must be free from stains, odors, tears, marks, moisture damage, misuse, or unhygienic conditions.
  • The mattress must remain structurally intact, without folding, bending, or improper handling damage.
  • The mattress must be used on a proper flat support surface or a Purelay-recommended base.

Purelay reserves the right to reject returns that fail hygiene, misuse, or condition inspection standards.

3. Comfort Support Before Return

As comfort preferences are subjective, our sleep specialists may first recommend the following before a return request is processed:

  • Mattress orientation adjustments.
  • Bedding or foundation corrections.
  • Comfort adaptation guidance.
  • Additional settling time.

A return request may only proceed after these support measures have been reasonably attempted.

4. Return Fees & Logistics

Approved returns may be subject to the following charges, which will be deducted from the final refund amount:

  • Reverse pickup charges.
  • Inspection and handling charges.
  • Logistics costs depending on service location.

Purelay reserves the right to refuse pickup in remote or non-serviceable locations.

5. Refund Deductions

If a return is approved following inspection, the following deduction terms apply:

  • Refunds are processed only after successful product evaluation and inspection.
  • Original shipping, premium delivery, installation, and convenience fees are non-refundable.
  • Any promotional discounts, bundled product benefits, or complimentary accessories may be adjusted from the refund value.
  • Refunds are typically processed within 7-14 business days after return approval.

6. Non-Returnable Products

The following items are strictly non-returnable under any circumstances:

  • Customized or made-to-order mattresses.
  • Pillows.
  • Mattress protectors.
  • Bedding accessories.
  • Clearance or final sale products.
  • Products purchased during special promotional campaigns, unless explicitly stated otherwise.

7. Order Cancellation

Orders may be cancelled only within 24 hours of placement and only before production or dispatch begins. As many Purelay products are prepared specifically for each order, cancellation requests after dispatch cannot be accommodated under any circumstances.

8. Important Hygiene Notice

For health, hygiene, and luxury quality assurance reasons, any mattress showing signs of the following will not qualify for return or refund under any circumstances:

  • Stains or spills.
  • Odor or smoking exposure.
  • Pet damage.
  • Moisture or infestation.
  • Misuse or structural damage.
